There I was, on the edge of a cliff, staring into the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen. The orange and red mixed near the sun, slowly fading outwards into a soft pink cloud formation. Illuminating the deep green Washington cascade valley with a wash an almost picture perfect sepia tone. A soft warm breeze wafting up the smell of pine to me. This is a day, a day worth cementing into memory.
If only I didn't have some jerks behind me yelling at me to jump or get shot. If only I didn't have all this broken skin. At least it's a perfect day. The rush of wind, the knot in my throat, the blur of the world rushing by. As I fall down not a regret or concern in my mind. The ground creeping up on me, it’s almost time to finally meet my maker.
Last thoughts; none 3,2,1 then nothing the ground never hit me! Instead I sit in a white room with white clothes on, sitting on a white pillow on the ground. A door to the left tells me that I'm not dead. Where am I? I get up slowly move towards the door, it opens as if it knows my intention was leaving. A white hall in the same fashion as the room I was in with other doors.
On each door is a word, the one closest to the right of mine says truth. Next is inspiration, and trust, belief, love, honesty, humility, and so on. I'm too intrigued to open them I just keep going down the hallway until I see one that says “This One” on it.. Stopped cold in my tracks it opens, to a beautiful sunset valley view from a cliff. A hand touches my shoulder, turning around I see the smiling face of my girl and wonder what it was I just experienced?
